Challenge Weeks:

Weeks 3 & 4 of Semester 2, 2019

Satisfied?
Lots of our pursuits are connected to seeking satisfaction – satisfying our hunger, thirst, desire to improve, make an impact, experience the world, desire for connection and relationship, to find rest and refreshment.

We look for ways to be satisfied, to help others to be satisfied. We look for ways to find satisfaction that will last.  Some things seem satisfying but aren’t, others seem unsatisfying but surprise us.

Join us to ask questions about, what satisfies?

  • What satisfies you?
  • What do people say is satisfying? – family, friends, uni lecturers, social media, common sense?
  • Are you satisfied?
  • Do you think satisfaction lasts?
  • When don’t you look for satisfaction?
  • Where do you look for satisfaction? short term? long term?…

Social Soccer
4.30pm @ The John Flynn Cricket Oval!! Great opportunity to relax and unwind with a relaxing game of soccer; if that is not really your thing, there is also a bunch of us that just sit around and chat. Drop in for 10 minutes or an hour we would love to see you and see how you are going after your first week.

Challenge Weeks are a great opportunity for us to engage the broader JCU community in an interactive way, and chat to people about their thoughts on life and faith, and share how Christ alone is a King we can trust.
